Full admission to Alcorn State University will be granted to high school graduates who complete the required College Preparatory Curriculum (CPC) along with one of the following:
- A minimum 3.20 grade-point average on the CPC.
- A minimum 2.50 grade-point average on the CPC and a composite score of 16 or higher on the ACT or a combined score of *880 or higher on the SAT.
- A minimum 2.0 grade-point average on the CPC and a composite score of 18 or higher on the ACT or a combined score of *960 or higher on the SAT.
- Standing in the top 50 percent of the class with a composite score of 16 or higher on the ACT or a combined score of *880 or higher on the SAT.
Full admission to Alcorn State University will be granted to high school graduates who satisfy the National Collegiate Athletic Association standards for student-athletes who are full or partial qualifiers under Division I guidelines.

- Official ACT or SAT scores. We encourage that these test scores come directly from ACT or SAT (ACT College Code – 2176 or SAT College Code – 6112).
- Proof of immunity to measles, mumps, and rubella
- All students born after 1956 are required to provide proof of immunity to Rubeola (red measles) and Rubella (German measles)
- This Immunization form must be sent to admissions prior to enrollment
- If you have any college credits, have the institution send all coursework.
