Office of Pre-Professional and Honors Curriculum Programs to host Research Symposium
The Office of Pre-Professional and Honors Curriculum Programs is gearing up for an event that will showcase the researching abilities of Alcorn State University’s students.
The program will have a Research Symposium Tuesday, Oct. 18 at 10 a.m. in the James L. Bolden Campus Union, Rooms 7 and 8, from 10 a.m. to noon. The symposium is a forum for students and faculty to present their research findings.
Dr. Wandra Arrington, assistant director of the Honors Curriculum Program states, “This event will spotlight honor students’ research for the purpose of increasing higher level cognitive and critical thinking skills among students and faculty. Alcorn has a long, rich history of research and we want to continue the growth of the students.”
