Alcorn’s Sizemore to review the Department of Biology at Claflin University

Dr. Robert Sizemore, professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at Alcorn State University, was invited to serve as an external reviewer for the Department of Biology at Claflin University in Orangeburg, South Carolina.

He will travel there on March 17, 2014, to participate in Claflin University’s Academic Program Review process. Together with the second external team member, Dr. Eric Hallerman from Virginia Tech University, Sizemore will review the Department’s self-study document, conduct interviews with key stakeholders and make recommendations to the provost on academic planning.

Sizemore shared, “It is a great honor to be chosen to evaluate another institution. I feel that I can apply things I learned over the years and contribute to the evaluation process.”
