Correction: Alcorn Delegation Participates in the Mississippi Academy of Sciences 80th Annual Meeting, Students Win Awards
There were several omissions in the article titled, “Alcorn delegation participates in the Mississippi Academy of Sciences 80th Annual Meeting, students win awards,” published in the March 24, 2016 issue of the AREAS NOW.
Ashley Williams was co-advised by Dr. Ananda Nanjundaswami, assistant professor, in addition to Dr. Girish Panicker.
Dr. Yan Meng is an assistant professor.
Dr. Chunquan Zhang is an assistant professor.
Dr. Victor Njiti is vice chair for the Division of Agriculture and Plant Sciences for the Mississippi Academy of Sciences for 2015-16.
Willie Mims presentation was titled, “Melon (Cucumis Melol Melo L) Production With Composted Manures on a Heavy Soil.”
The following paper was missing from the list: Caroline Mensah, Jermiah Billa, Fengxiang Han, Girish Panicker, Karthik Eti, Joseph Dimpah, Deborah Quaye, Sai Mayreddy: Radiological Implications of Locally Produced Fertilizers.
