How to land the perfect job the right way
Are you seeking employment following graduation? If you answered yes, then attend the Federal Hiring Process and Resume Writing Workshops Wednesday, Oct. 5 from 9-11 a.m. or 1-3 p.m. No pre-registration is required.
The workshop, sponsored by the School of Agriculture, Research, Extension and Applied Sciences in collaboration with the Office of Pre-Professional and Honors Curriculum Programs, will be held in the Ray Johnson Assembly Center, Extension and Research Complex.
Students will be shown the correct way to apply for federal jobs, how to avoid being rejected due to inadequate job applications, as well as the latest resume writing strategies, according to Casnacita S. Gray, the School’s student services coordinator.
Rica Dyas, supervisory human resources specialist at Western Servicing Human Resources Office, Southeast Region of the National Park Service, will facilitate the sessions.
“The sessions are open to every student on campus; however, we are encouraging every senior within our School to attend,” said Gray.
