It’s Ag High School Day!

The students, faculty and staff of the School of Agriculture, Research, Extension and Applied

Sciences are busy planning their first Ag High School Day. The event will be held on Thursday, April 28,

2016 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., according to Casnacita S. Gray, student services coordinator.

Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. in the Jesse A. Morris Sr. /W.C. Boykin Agricultural ScienceBuilding.

“This open house is designed to help inspire students to focus and make the connection between academics and career preparation as well as highlight the many opportunities available in agriculture, human sciences, biotechnology, and advanced technologies,” said Gray.

High schools from across the state as well as various parishes within Louisiana have been invited to attend.
