This year’s Spring Commencement Exercises will be held Saturday, May 11th in the Davey L. Whitney HPER Complex. The first ceremony will begin at 9:00 a.m. (Golden Class, Graduate School, College of Agriculture and Applied Sciences, and School of Nursing). The second ceremony will begin at 1:00 p.m. (College of Arts and Sciences, School of Business, and School of Education and Psychology).
Doors will open at 6:00 a.m.
Yes. Rehearsal is scheduled for Friday, May 10 at 10 a.m. at the Davey L. Whitney HPER Complex. All graduates are required to attend.
No. Tickets are not needed for this event.
Yes. The live webcast can be viewed the day of Commencement via Facebook and YouTube.
Yes. Reserved seating is available for wheelchair guests and guests with mobility concerns. Individuals will be directed to this location by Commencement staff. One guest may accompany each guest with mobility concerns.
No. The cap and gown are keepsake items.
Platform and VIP guests will park at the Davey L. Whitney HPER Complex.
Marshals and commencement staff will park in the rear section of the Jack Spinks-Marino Casem Stadium.
Graduates and faculty will park in the new parking area located next to the Research and Extension Complex.
Guest parking will be available in the Jack Spinks-Marino Casem Stadium, the Center for Ecology and Natural Resources, Willie Mae Latham Taylor Park, Extension and Research Complex, Jesse A. Morris Sr./W.C. Boykin Agricultural Science Building and the K.L. Simmons Sr. Technology Building.
There will be limited parking for persons with mobility concerns at the Davey L. Whitney HPER Complex.
Diplomas will be mailed within two weeks to the address provided on the graduate’s application for degree.
