The Office of Online Education was established to increase the online instructional capability at Alcorn State University (ASU). The Office is housed at the main ASU campus on the second floor of the library. The Director and her staff provide leadership for online curricular offerings at Alcorn State University. In addition to the day-to-day management of all aspects of online instruction, the Office oversees planning, marketing, student and faculty training, assessment and reporting for the unit, in addition to serving as the liaison with outsourced services providers. The Office of Online Education a part of the Division of Academic Affairs and reports to the Executive Vice President/Provost. The Office of Online Education provides leadership, advocacy, and support for online instructional programs and services to all academic units in delivery of electronic learning for educational purposes. The Office of Online Education is supported through funding provided by Title III.
