Dr. Twumasi appointed editor/reviewer British Journal of Environment and Climate Change
Dr. Yaw Twumasi, ASU Department of Agriculture Research Unit, was recently appointed as one of the editors/reviewers for the British Journal of Environment and Climate Change by the members of Editorial Board of Sciencedomain International in the United Kingdom.
This peer-reviewed, open access, and online journal publishes original research, reports, editorials and reviews. Published areas include physical and biological sciences interaction of physical, chemical, and biological processes, atmospheric sciences, environmental statistics, ecology, geosciences, oceanography, environmental geology, alternative energy systems, pollution control and mitigation, use of waste water in agriculture, impact of water supply and sanitation in developing countries, natural resource management, the effects of global climate change, global warming, biogeochemistry, atmospheric dispersion modeling, ecological sanitation, ecotoxicity and its effect on climate change.
For the past year, Dr. Twumasi has been contributing articles related to climate change in the journal. Recently, he collaborated with other researchers from Iowa State University, Alabama A&M University, Jackson State University and Oakwood University to probe into the relationships between climate and forest vegetation. That research was also published in the October, 2011 edition of British Journal of Environment and Climate Change.
